Joint Slice:
This school thing is more work than we remembered. On the bright side, at least we have Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka to bring back that summer glow to our cheeks. Right now, we're sitting in our favorite dive-bar cafe enjoying our first slice of pie this school year. Charlee is currently demolishing some french toast and bacon and not wanting to read for class. Rachel is not looking forward to writing another Try-it piece for non-fiction writing and having to sit next to Mr. Abercrombie who sprayed himself in the face with cologne yesterday. But tomorrow is Thursday, Grey's Anatomy and the weekend is almost here. Charlee just realized that cable will be installed in Rachel's apartment by the time Grey's comes on tomorrow. She is ecstatic.
On second thought...maybe we shouldn't be looking forward to another weekend. Well at least not after last one. Rachel spent a lovely Sunday and Monday hungover like crazy. That's right, a two day hangover with plenty of time spent worshiping the porcelain god and not being able to sleep through a nasty case of the spins. It could be worse, she could be like Charlee and be a racist(we are so kidding. But honestly, who knew that there were black people in Scrooged?) Something to be jealous of though--Charlee's Animal-from-the-Muppets-esque drumming skills. Thanks again to alcohol for loosening morals and wrist dexterity.
For those who we shared some beautiful summer rays with, but are no longer sharing the state with: Erika, Maggie, and Jessie Bell, We miss you. We'd toast you, but Rachel already drank the entire bottle of champagne to herself.
Well, there isn't much else to say--we really just wanted to get a post out for September so you'd remember we were here. We'll both be back with our own witicisms soon enough when there more to comment on than high school crushes that don't pan out and feeding homeless people for school credit. Really, we've done a whole hell of alot that would entertain you to read, we just dont know where to start. So with new living situations and a new school year just starting, we will have fresh stories for you all soon. Peace out, yo.
In honor of fall, Rachel had Dutch Apple pie A la mode, Charlee had Pumpkin pie.
